A Brief Summary of This Position:
This individual contributor position serves as the primary point of contact for the support and Audio-Visual administration for the Valley Campus A/V conference rooms and back-up for the IT PC Support team. The incumbent will maintain a high level of oversight over all site-specific technical processes and work closely with all levels of employees to ensure that the functionality and scalability of all audio and video equipment continues to meet the user’s needs. The nature of this position requires a high degree of self-directed activity, customer service, professionalism and interaction with all employees, guests, and vendors. The incumbent must be self-directed, proactive, technically competent, and capable of working under severe time constraints, quick decision making, and extreme pressure. Responsibilities include primary contact for the setup and/or operate, troubleshoot, procurement, and disposal of audio/video equipment in conference rooms; serving as technical resource during meetings that require A/V assistance; working closely with the Audio Visual Engineer and/or Unified Communications Engineer, vendors, and management to ensure that the functionality and scalability of audio/video equipment continues to meet the user needs and other special projects and duties assigned by manager.

Working Environment and Physical Efforts:
The working environment extends to the Omaha Corporate Global Headquarters for backup duties of the Audio-Visual Engineer. Travel, up to 5%, is expected to offsite locations for preparing audio/visual and video conferencing equipment for seminars and conferences. The employee is expected to utilize proper ergonomic safeguards such as monitor height and position, keyboard location and height, and appropriate use of wrist rests. This position requires manual and finger dexterity to operate a computer keyboard, mouse, hand and power tools, and handle computer components. In addition, the position requires the ability to lift and transport equipment weighing up to 50 pounds from a floor or table position using a proper lifting technique. The incumbent is expected to wear required PPE when working at manufacturing or distribution facilities, and meet all physical demands associated with wearing the required PPE and performing the work assigned.
