We are seeking an Inventory Control Analyst to enhance the accuracy of our inventory system by proactively identifying issues and working collaboratively to resolve them. This role involves working closely with various teams to address inventory discrepancies, conducting audits, and providing training to improve overall performance. The position will also include cycle counting, document reviews, and strong analytical work to investigate and reconcile discrepancies. We value teamwork, respect, and integrity in this hands-on, fast-paced role.
Essential Responsibilities:
Serve as the primary contact for inventory control matters with management.
Reconcile counts, track inventory data, and ensure accuracy and compliance.
Report inventory discrepancies, including audit findings and damaged goods.
Participate in cycle counting and resolve work-in-progress (WIP) audit discrepancies.
Train and support team members on inventory control procedures.
Operate industrial equipment when needed and collaborate across departments to identify improvements in inventory systems.
Maintain awareness of manufacturing methods and related inventory systems.
Key Qualifications:
Education: Preferred Bachelors with 5+ years relevant experience or Associates Degree with 7+ years relevant experience or 9+ years of relevant experience.
Skills: Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Excel, Access, Outlook), strong analytical and problem-solving skills, attention to detail, ability to read blueprints, and understanding of inventory-related accounting procedures.
Additional Requirements: Ability to operate forklifts and other industrial equipment, excellent communication skills, and the ability to thrive in a fast-paced, deadline-driven environment.
Bonus Qualifications:
Lean manufacturing experience and advanced Microsoft Excel/Access skills.
Ability to solve complex inventory discrepancies and lead process improvements.
