Essential Functions:

  • Verify that all materials and products are properly labeled and placed in the correct areas.
  • Verifies merchandise received against receiving documents, noting and reporting any discrepancies or noticeable damage.   
  • Responsible for managing incoming and outgoing customer materials, production supplies, and packaging materials.
  • Determine the handling, storage, and packaging needs for each job.
  • Facilitates locating products or materials required for the Production Manager, Supervisor, or Production Leads. 
  • Ensure that all paperwork is processed in an effective and timely manner.
  • Coordinates transfer of raw and painted products to and from the warehouse.
  • Helps to prepare orders for shipment, moving goods within the shipping area via forklift (forklift certification required).
  • Maintains shipping documentation, manifests, and receipts.
  • Ensures orders are accurately and efficiently filled while continually striving for improved customer satisfaction.
  • Starting Wage range is $24.00 - $27.60 per hour.

  • Hours are 8:00 am – 4:30 pm

Required Qualifications of Every Candidate (Education, Experience, Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities):

  • This position reports to the Shipping Supervisor
  • High School Education or Equivalent
  • Forklift Certification
  • Computers – Knowledge of basic Microsoft Office Software, including Word, Excel, and Outlook.
  • Must possess good mathematical skills.
  • Must have the ability to read and understand the English Language.
  • Show interest in improvement and advancement.

Working Environment and Physical Efforts:

All of the working conditions for this position are in a manufacturing shop environment with exposure to dirt, grease, fumes, cold, heat, noise, and dust.  The environment is fast-paced and demanding most of the time.  The Incumbent must utilize proper ergonomic and safety safeguards, such as hearing protection and safety glasses.  The employee must occasionally lift and/or move up to 50 pounds while working with many different parts for processing.  Specific vision abilities required by this job include close vision, distance vision, peripheral vision, and depth perception.
