1 | Role Purpose
Drive accurate product costing and order processing for the galvanizing plant (≈ 80 % of time) and support small‑to‑medium CAPEX or reliability projects that keep critical assets—kettle, pickling/flux tanks, cranes and utilities—running safely and efficiently (≈ 20 %).

Receive RFQs, perform material take‑off and prepare BOQ/BOM, cost estimates and quotations.
Generate Sales Orders, Order Confirmations, Picking Dockets and Job Orders; maintain document control in ERP.
Track estimate‑vs‑actual cost and explain variances to Finance & Sales.
Order / Document Control

Consolidate client POs and revisions; update pricing when scope changes.
Coordinate approvals, distribute job packets (BOM, drawings, PD, JO) to Production, QA, Finance and Supply Chain.
Maintain auditable records for ISO 9001.
Maintenance‑Project Support

Assist the Plant Engineering team in planning & executing minor projects: kettle relines, acid‑bath desludging, crane upgrades, burner replacements, etc.
Prepare simple Gantt schedules, RFQs and technical specs; monitor contractor HSE compliance.
Preventive‑Maintenance Coordination
~5 %
Enter and track work orders in the CMMS; follow up on parts availability and job closure.
Collect MTBF/MTTR data for critical equipment and highlight chronic issues.
HSE & Continuous Improvement

Champion LOTO, molten‑metal, chemical‑handling and confined‑space rules.
Participate in Kaizen events to cut zinc losses, energy use and downtime.
Intelex encoding and safety report update
3 | Education & Qualifications
Bachelor's degree in Civil, Mechanical, Industrial, Metallurgical or similar Engineering discipline (PRC‑licensed preferred).
Cost‑estimating or quantity‑surveying coursework is advantageous.
Training in hot‑dip galvanizing, corrosion protection or maintenance management a plus.
4 | Experience
3–5 years cost engineering / estimating in metals, fabrication or chemical processing.
At least 1 year exposure to plant maintenance, reliability or small CAPEX projects.
