How you will contribute

We are currently seeking a proactive and detail-oriented Customer Service & Purchasing Officer to join our team in Royal Park. This role is responsible for maintaining strong relationships with customers, supporting internal sales teams, and ensuring the efficient procurement of products to support operational needs.

How you will contribute;

  • Process RFQs through to order release, ensuring timely and accurate handling
  • Deliver exceptional service to internal and external customers, addressing queries on pricing, turnaround, and technical details
  • Maintain and update customer data, pricing, and interactions in Phocas, QAD, and CRM systems
  • Collaborate with manufacturing, logistics, and finance to ensure seamless order fulfilment
  • Support external sales representatives and account managers in managing customer accounts and lead follow-ups
  • Source, evaluate, and negotiate with suppliers to secure competitive pricing and timely supply
  • Monitor inventory and raise purchase orders in line with business needs and procurement policies
  • Identify process improvements, contribute ideas, and support continuous improvement initiatives across the business

About you

  • Proven experience in customer service, internal sales, or procurement roles
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills with a customer-focused approach
  • High level of accuracy and attention to detail, with the ability to manage multiple priorities
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office and experience using QAD, Phocas, and CRM systems
  • Demonstrated ability to build strong supplier and customer relationships
  • A collaborative team player with initiative and a problem-solving mindset
