Join our team as the Regional Project Engineering Supervisor, where you'll oversee critical engineering functions pivotal for the design and installation of large-scale solar projects. Leading a diverse team of engineers spanning electrical, mechanical, and structural disciplines, your role is integral to ensuring project success in alignment with company objectives. You'll provide essential guidance, training, and support to team members while effectively managing budgets, and manpower, and fostering strong relationships with customers and industry stakeholders.

Your responsibilities include staff development, coaching, and recommendation of resource allocations to control expenses. Establishing work procedures and guidelines to optimize workflow and accuracy, you'll ensure adherence to company policies and standards. Active participation in professional societies and industry activities keeps you abreast of evolving standards and innovations while maintaining crucial relationships with customers, suppliers, and consulting firms. Collaborating cross-functionally with operations, maintenance, manufacturing, and quality assurance teams, you'll drive synergy and efficiency across the organization.

Your expertise in structural, mechanical, and/or electrical engineering principles is fundamental, as you make independent decisions on engineering challenges and represent the organization in conferences and industry committees. Leveraging advanced techniques and continuously refining theories and practices, you'll also collaborate with R&D on next-generation products and specifications, ensuring the company remains at the forefront of innovation in the renewable energy sector.

 
Required Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s Degree in Structural/Civil Engineering with 6+ years of relevant experience  
  • Prior leadership experience, either through project management or prior supervisory roles

Preferred Qualifications: 

  • Master of Engineering degree
  • PE Certification 
  • Experience in the solar industry with a solid understanding of product end-use
  • Passport holder with the ability to obtain Visas for international travel

The annual base salary range for this position in most major metropolitan areas in Colorado is $115,100.00 - $179,800.00. Please note that the salary information is a general guideline only. Valmont Industries considers factors such as (but not limited to) the scope and responsibilities of the position, candidate’s work experience, education/training, key skills, and market and business considerations when extending an offer. The position will be posted until filled.
