The Impact You’ll Make
As the Territory Manager, you will be joining our HR Products division. HR Products, a Valmont Company, has grown into one of Australia’s largest wholesale irrigation distributors with an extensive dealer network across the country.
Based in Loganholme, Brisbane and reporting directly to the QLD State Manager, this role will see you responsible for cultivating strong customer relationships across our HR Products portfolio—driving profitable sales growth and supporting high client retention. Key responsibilities include:
Provide a high level of customer service, ensuring customers maintain a high level of satisfaction and confidence in our products, services, and logistical execution.
Build relationships with customers through effective communication, which strengthens client trust and confidence whilst displaying a “can-do” attitude.
Continually develop your Irrigation technical knowledge, knowledge of our products and their uses, as well as advancement in the irrigation industry generally.
Assist customers and end users during the lifecycle of the sales process (including after-sales), ensuring that questions, issues, and troubleshooting are addressed promptly and professionally.
Communicate effectively with the Customer Support team, ensuring all feedback and issues relating to customers are addressed to maintain a high level of customer satisfaction.
Assist with processing warranty reports, product returns, and logistic errors, providing prompt communication with the Warehouse Manager & Supervisor.
Regulations, and Codes of practice (including Community requirements, trade practices) by following documented procedures, processes, and adhering to regulations.
What You’ll Bring
Proven experience providing technical sales advice (3-5 years’) and communicating with clients at a high level within the Irrigation/Agricultural space.
Strong technical aptitude, with the ability to understand and support responses to quotes, proposals, and tenders.
Demonstrated success in managing customer expectations, building strong client relationships
Demonstrated track record in developing and executing sales, including growing new accounts
Ability to network and build rapport across key stakeholders, including site-level, management, and purchasing
Highly developed written and verbal communication skills, including strong empathy, negotiation & interpersonal skills.
A willingness and ability to travel, including overnights stays
